"Interceding for the needs of God's people is one of life's most fulfilling and rewarding experiences. It offers an opportunity to see God's power and love working in peoples' lives, as a result of our being obedient by coming to Him in prayer....As intercessors, we are commissioned by God to become 'warriors of light,' fighting against the powers of darkness that are trying to destroy families, value systems, Christian institutions, governments, the environment, our health, our world" (taken from Sword of the Spirit ...the Word of God: A Handbook for Scriptural Intercession). These thoughts are an excellent description of our work in "Radical Intercession" here at Saint Anne's.

During Radical Intercession we don't teach about prayer, we spend the entire time praying. We have received a number of testimonies regarding our prayer. Most are amazed that after we prayed for their needs they received much more than their heart dreamed possible. Radical Intercession brings Radical Results because our God desires to give to us abundantly.

"Radical Intercession" meets every Sunday morning between services, 9:30 - 10:15, in the Library. Sometimes we break into groups and a team prays over the sanctuary and the Prayer Wall. If you are not experienced at praying out loud in a group, don't worry, many of our prayers are read. You see, we believe in praying the scripture. Why recreate what God has so beautifully prepared for us? You may join us every week or simply whenever you choose. There is no set group of us--though there is a bunch who love it so they can't imagine coming to church and not being at RI. All are very welcome and invited to come and pray. We have a simple, easy-to-follow format for praying. Why don't you consider being a warrior of light?
