The Preaching Ministry

As disciples of Jesus, we are committed to the Word of God. As priests and pastors, we are committed in being faithful to the Word and Sacraments. Therefore, the preaching ministry of St. Anne's is very vital to the spiritual health and well-being of the parish. We are blessed to have very effective communicators and Bible-teachers that relate the Scriptures to every day life. Our sermons are taped and made available in the narthex (lobby) after every service or can be heard on our www.saintanneschurch.net.

"I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: Preach the Word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching." - 2 Tim. 4:1,2

"And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power" - I Corinthians 2:4-5

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." - 2 Timothy 3:16,17
