Learning One Thing
Living Between Your Two Worlds

In the Adult Education Sessions, at 9:30-10:10 a.m. on Sundays,
Fr. Tony Baron and the community of St. Anne's is committed to living in the kingdom of God with
Jesus as our King while we live on earth. In a world filled more with zig-zags than straight lines,
this Bible study led by Fr. Tony will help you understand God's plan for the world, the church, and
for you. This class will assist you in becoming a more effective disciple for Jesus Christ in your
journey whether you are at home, work, or church. Laying the foundation of Kingdom Living for the
child of God, Fr. Tony then will begin to help us "learn just one thing" about the kingdom of God that
will help us live to the glory of God while on earth. Some of the classes will address the following
"one thing" to learn:
* how to grow in our faith
* how to become more sensitive to the spiritual needs of other people
* to treat others with dignity
* how to establish the right priorities in life
* how to forgive
* how to bless those who curse you
* how to be forgiven
* your primary mission in life
* what greatness is in the Kingdom of God
* how to pray authentically and effectively
* how to deal with internal destructive tendencies like lust and anger
* how to love our enemies and not retaliate when they want to harm us
* how not to stroke our insecurities when we do good deeds
* how to spend our money on things that have value beyond this world
* how to avoid worry and trust in the love, power, and wisdom of God for our life
* how not to be overtly critical and judgmental of others
* how to live a life that is intimate with God
* how to live a blessed, contented, and abundant life
* how to discern false teachers and good shepherds
* the cost of being a disciple and the higher cost of not being a disciple of Jesus
* how the Kingdom of God works in the kingdom of this world
And there is more to learn. Invite a friend to this interactive class on kingdom living.
