CURRENT EVENTS

Adult Discipleship

The vision of Adult Discipleship is that every person in our community be nurtured and supported in their spiritual development as we learn together to live as Jesus lived and do what Jesus did. The Ministry of Adult Discipleship at St Anne's is focused on three areas which are designed to support continual spiritual growth. They are Adult Education (IN), Small Groups (OUT), and Checkup/Renewal (UP).

Adult Education will be offered on Sunday mornings between services with potential of additional special series on Wednesday evenings during the year. The Small Groups aspect will focus on the Experiment and tracking and support of the many Discipleship Covenant Groups currently active and newly forming in our community. The Checkup/Renewal is designed as Kairos time where we can share in clusters with fellowship, prayer, and enjoy special guest teachers on a periodic basis throughout the year.

This is an evolving ministry with a commitment to keep an eye firmly on Jesus as we listen for direction and serve our wonderful community at St. Anne's. We have an exciting start to our offerings with Fr Tony kicking off the Adult Education Calendar with Learning One Thing on Sundays at 9:30am in Jacob Hall that will continue into Advent. On September 9th, we also began the Small Group Experiment led by Donna Brayton Sunday evenings at 5p at the Baron home. We will have our first Checkup/Renewal cluster gathering in the winter with a featured guest on January 13th. Following is the initial Calendar of events by area of focus.
