The Christian Healing Center is offering a Myers-Briggs Personality Workshop beginning Friday evening January 25th and all day Saturday January 26th . The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator(R) (MBTI(R)) assessment is the best known and most trusted personality tool available today. From developing more productive work teams to building closer families, the MBTI can improve the quality of life for anyone and any organization.

After more than 50 years, the MBTI instrument continues to be the most trusted and widely used assessment in the world for understanding individual differences and uncovering new ways to work and interact with others. More than 2 million assessments are administered to individuals annually --including employees of many Fortune 500 companies and has been translated in 21 languages.

Fr. Nigel Mumford is scheduled to present a healing seminar at Saint Anne's, hosted by the CHC. This will be a marvelous opportunity to hear a well known speaker on such an important subject. Fr. Mumford is an ordained Episcopal priest, published author and keynote speaker. He is the Director of Healing Ministry at Christ the King Spiritual Life Center in Greenwich, N.Y. Fr. Mumford has presented healing missions in many churches, seminaries, hospitals and for the Order of Saint Luke. Information for registration will be available in December / January.

This 16 week workshop will take an in-depth journey into God's healing of the whole person; body, mind/emotions/behavior, and spirit. The focus will be on God's power being greater than the dysfunction or emotional wounds of our present or past lives. A commitment to attend weekly will be required. Exact dates will be provided as it gets closer.

This group is for persons suffering from mood problems such as depression, mood swings, anger management, anxiety, etc. It is not important to have been professionally diagnosed for these problems to profit from this workshop. The group will be conducted by professionals and will be based on Christian principles and Holy Scripture. Our goal is to glorify Christ by ministering to those who suffer from these disorders by helping participants to learn that medicine is not evil but a gift of God.

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy is based on the simple principle that as we change our thinking (the one thing we have some semblance of control over and is all too often the victim of bad, learned habits) we can have an impact on our mood state and even our body chemistry. It is in fact encapsulated in the scripture: "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he."

This retreat is held monthly, offering two days of individual prayer ministry interspersed with teachings on healing. A generational healing Eucharist will be held on the 2nd day. Each 5th Sunday in the year, at 6:30 pm, we sponsor a healing service at Saint Anne's Church. This is a lovely service with worship, praise, teaching and prayer. There are prayer ministers to pray over each individual who desires it.
