ABOUT US

Kirsten Gardner

Kirsten has served at St. Anne's Church in Women's Ministry since the spring of 2005. In May of 2008 she was ordained to the permanent Diaconate, adding to her role as head of women's ministries the oversight of our Pastoral Care ministry.

Kirsten is a graduate of UC Berkeley and holds a Master's of Science in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University. She is presently pursuing a graduate degree in Theology from Fuller Seminary. Kirsten is also a member of the Order of St. Luke, an interdenominational healing ministry, and an active member of the prayer ministry of St. Anne's.

It is her expressed desire to see wholeness and healing brought to the entire body of Christ, be it in the form of meeting the needs of individual parishioners, the larger parish, or the community surrounding our church home. As a deacon, it is her call to be a bridge between the ministry of the church and the larger world in which we all live.

Kirsten and her husband Mark have lived in the North County area since the fall of 2003 and, following their twelfth move, are praying that this will remain home for many years to come. They have two children, one very large dog and the tiniest yard imaginable.
